Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 S.14: Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

The below Road(s) will be temporarily closed to allow works to be completed on the highway.

If you have any queries regarding these works please contact the Utility direct on the number below. Any responses to this email received by Street Works will be forwarded to the Utility for them to respond.

Please note that this is only an Intention Notice and as of yet an Order has not been issued.

Please respond with any feedback within fourteen days from the date of this e-mail.

Poundstock Parish Council invites representations on its draft Neighbourhood Development Plan

This is a formal public consultation being run in accordance with Regulation 14 of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.

The consultation period runs for six weeks beginning on Wednesday 15th October 2025 and ending midnight on 27th November 2025.

The draft Neighbourhood Development Plan and further information about this consultation can be found on the Neighbourhood Plan page of the Poundstock Parish Council website at:

Co-Option of Two Parish Councillors


There are two vacancies on Poundstock Parish Council for co-opted Councillors.

It is an unpaid position but allows an individual to get actively involved in maintaining and improving village life.

Are you eligible to apply?

You must be a Commonwealth/British Citizen or Euro National and be 18 years of age or over.

In addition, one of the following must apply:

be on the local electoral register

own a property or land in the area for the past 12 months

work in the parish for the last 12 months

have lived within three miles of the parish for the last 12 months.

Should you wish to apply for the post, please send in a statement identifying your experience, reasons for wanting to be considered and any special areas of interests you may have to clerk@poundstock-pc.gov.uk

The existing elected Councillors will then consider the statements before making a decision at the next Parish Council meeting.

The deadline for submitting a statement is noon on 03-December 2025
